Testimonials
“Naretha did a fantastic job providing professional and fun Etiquette for Business Dining Training for teens in the ArtWorks Creative Future Program. Naretha was professional and able to speak to the teens in an engaging manner while holding the attention of the adults as well. All of the guests, both young teens and adults learned from this and thoroughly enjoyed Naretha’s presentation! All of us present will be able to use what we learned during our next dining experience in a professional setting.” P. Block, St Louis Artworks
"I liked learning how to properly sit in a chair."
" I loved everything about this workshop. It taught me a lot of things I was unaware of. I feel 100% more prepared for an appropriate etiquette dinner."
"Bread plate is on the LEFT!". I thought the refresher was....refreshing! I'd totally forgotten that my left hand goes in my lap."
“Naretha was hired by Saint Louis University’s Black Alumni Association to make a presentation on dining and social media etiquette to the undergraduate Black Student Alliance. Her presentation achieved the perfect balance between appropriateness, poise, confidence, pragmatism, and humor. The students were able to relate to her because she coupled the rules with realistic examples for application and encouraged questions. Additionally, although the alumni in the room had been to etiquette workshops before this one, we learned some new things too.” - ---S. Hamilton
"I enjoyed that the training was "open" we were free to ask questions, share examples and participate in demos... Great job!"
" Liked Naretha's personality and flow of presentation, knowledge of material, ability to interact with audience."
" I learned the way to eat, walk, write, sit and stand. I liked that we got to practice."
" Ms. Hopson, your presentation was FANTASTIC at the Urban League-St. Louis!! You utilized participation, spot on tips and recommendations, and a dash of humor to make for a very valuable and informative session. Our community needs you and the work you do!! I look forward to your next event! Thank you!"
"Liked the balance between serious conversation and fun joking."
"Pros: Information varied on topics, the event was organized. The presenter was extremely knowledgable about the topic. Cons: I wanted to focus on eating more, but I learned that it is not about the food. (I still wanted to eat the food)"
"Lot of tips for example- who pays, styles of cutting food, facebook, what to do when food isnt to ones liking. Also enjoyed covering other topics like media and presentations. Learning it's not about the food, but the business."
